The hotel is a 3-star facility nestled in the hub of Kigali city and is approximately 12 kilometers from Kigali International Airport (in Kanombe).
The property was established in 1995 by a Rwandan businessman, who was dealing with petroleum products and international transport.
In 2004, the company decided to help resolve the housing problem in Rwanda, and now it has constructed over 100 houses in Kigali.
At the same time, the hotel decided to align its objectives with the government’s policy in the tourism industry and as a result, the Stipp hotels chain was born.

The hotel comprises of 50 en-suite executive rooms; 24 double and 26 single rooms. The rooms are none smoking and some of them offer views to Kigali city.
